Nonviolence Training

Overview

Across the country and the world, tensions are escalating. What can you do in a moment of crisis, at a local demonstration, or in an ordinary conversation, to lower the volume, remain calm, and create peace? The nonviolence trainings are practical and grounded, steeped in the teachings of King and Gandhi. You will have the opportunity to practice in role-plays, ask your important questions, and emerge with greater ability to defuse violence in yourself, your circles, and the world around you. This course will be taught by Sister Anne McCarthy, Coordinator of Benedictines for Peace and Pax Christi USA Ambassador of Peace. There is no charge, but we welcome donations.
